Microsoft Helpline Number +1-800-201-4179 is starting to force-update Windows 10 machines from version 1803 to 1903

Microsoft tech support number has been known to force its Windows 10 users to update their machines; much to the chagrin of many customers. Though Microsoft customer support number Windows 10 updates are usually fine and relatively stable, they do sometimes bring sweeping changes that can frustrate users or even cause performance issues and outright data loss.

With this volatility and unpredictability in mind, it's perhaps understandable that many users would try to avoid updating their machines for as long as possible. For several individuals, that means sticking to Windows 10's 1803 update, which came out around mid-2018.
Unfortunately for those folks, Microsoft helpline number has had enough of their reluctance to update and has opted to take matters into its own hands. Starting now, the tech giant will be force-updating computers running Windows 10 version 1803 to the latest version of the OS, which is the Windows 10 May 2019 update (version 1903). Microsoft says its reasoning primarily stems from a desire to keep user systems secure from Microsoft customer support number.
"Keeping these devices both supported and receiving monthly updates is critical to device security and ecosystem health," the tech giant wrote in a support article announcement by Microsoft technical support number. "Based on the large number of devices running the April 2018 Update, that will reach the end of 18 months of service on November 12, 2019, we are starting the update process now for Home and Pro editions to help ensure adequate time for a smooth update process."

Though some users will undoubtedly feel they know their machines and their potential security risks better than Microsoft technical support number does, there is no clear way to opt-out of this update -- short of using software like ShutUp10 to disable the functionality entirely (which can carry its own risks).
The good news is, Windows 10 version 1903 seems to be relatively stable so far and perhaps a bit ironically, Microsoft helpline number even includes some helpful new update control features. For example, the ability to "defer" updates was once a Pro-exclusive option, but all May 2019 update users will be able to utilize a similar functionality now. Specifically, Windows 10 version 1903 lets you push updates back up to 5 times, for 5 days each (up to 35 days in total).

  • Addresses an issue that prevents an App-V application from opening if the client is offline and a startup script is defined for the App-V application.
  • Addresses a rare issue that causes Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to temporarily prevent other processes from accessing files.
  • Addresses an issue that causes the Start menu to stop responding when new users sign in to Windows 10, version 1903.
  • Updates the Windows Ink Workspace by simplifying the menu and adding direct integration with the Microsoft Whiteboard app for a richer collaboration experience.

As its name implies, the microsoft helpline number Windows 10 May 2019 Update was released in May of this year, and has encountered some notable bugs in the process -- which is to be expected with a major OS update. However, the May 2019 Update has not been plagued with the widespread show-stopping bugs that plagued its predecessor, the October 2018 Update.

At this time, Microsoft support phone number is actively working on two upcoming Windows 10 updates, including an unnamed 19H2 update that will arrive before the end of the year, and a 20H1 update that will land during the opening months of 2020. As for the latter, Microsoft support phone number has already had one mishap after if pushed out an internal test build of Windows 10 20H1 to Slow and Fast ring public testers that included a number of previously undisclosed features.

Microsoft  will update ‘Your Phone’ App to Allow All Android Notifications on Your PC

Windows 10 comes with the Your Phone app which allows you smartphone (Android or iOS) to connect to your PC to offer cross-platform connectivity, however it is finally receiving a massive update. According to a report by Windows Central, users will no longer need to pick up their phones to view or delete notifications. Also dismissing a notification on one device will also dismiss it on the other.
That’s not all. According to Microsoft, you can also pick which app notifications get pushed to your PC. While the feature has started rolling out for all users, you do however need to be running on the April 2018 Windows 10 update or later. As of now we haven’t received an update to enable these features.
Microsoft’s Your Phone app currently offers some useful features like the ability to access photos on your phone, so you don’t need to plug it in or head to Google Photos on your browser. It also offers the ability to read and reply to text messages. Adding the ability to show notifications from all apps is definitely going to be one of the best features to arrive on Windows. It will be interesting to see if the app would allow users to reply using their PCs, because that will be super convenient.

Microsoft warns users to check their operating system if it is dangerously out of date.

Microsoft Windows users warned to critically update their computers or risk ‘WannaCry 2.0’
Up to a million ‘dangerously out of date’ Windows users could be at risk of a global attack that could be as devastating as WannaCry.

About a million Windows users could be at risk of a highly spreadable ransomware attack, experts fear could be as troubling as the 2017 WannaCry cyberattack.

Concerns surrounding the potential severity of BlueKeep has prompted Australia’s Cyber Security Centre and Microsoft to issue urgent warnings for users to update their operating systems.

Microsoft tech support number says any operating system earlier than Windows 8 is at risk with internet security company AVG warning users to check if their operating system is ‘dangerously out of date’.

Microsoft technical support phone number alerted users to BlueKeep earlier this year, but have warned more than a million computers are still vulnerable.

The vulnerability involves a common Windows protocol, which can allow hackers to remotely takeover a computer without any input from the machine’s owner.

Microsoft lists BlueKeep as a 9.8 out of 10 in threat severity, prompting its director of security to compare it to WannaCry.

In 2017 WannCry hit Windows computers globally and resulted in more than 300,000 being infected with the ransomware worm.

That cybervirus spread rapidly to the point where the UK National Health Service and European telecommunications and automotive services were affected.

Australia’s Cyber Security Centre estimates WannaCry cost the global economy hundreds of millions in lost revenue and repair bills.

More than a year later MalwareBytes revealed WannaCry was still impacting thousands of Australian computer users and millions globally.

In 2018, it found 3388 cases of WannaCry on Australian systems but said globally that number was closer to three million computers.

The ACSC has joined Microsoft and the US department of Homeland Security’s urgent push to get users to update their computers, saying anyone running Windows 8 or earlier should install the latest security patch as soon as possible.

They warn the pre-2008 Windows software vulnerability in the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) could result in a major global ransomware attack.

Microsoft support  phone number says BlueKeep is able to ‘worm’ its way into computer systems with no owner interaction at all.

“With potentially millions of networks vulnerable, we’re now notifying smaller entities and owners and operators of businesses around Australia, of the need to patch your systems as soon as possible,”

ACSC warned last month, adding BlueKeep has the potential for “significant, widespread harm around the world.”

“The BlueKeep vulnerability is readily available to cyber criminals who seek to exploit vulnerable systems en masse. These criminal groups are not necessarily targeting unsuspecting users; they’re simply sweeping the landscape for vulnerable, outdated systems that are easily penetrable.”

HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF

Microsoft support number warns up to one million computers connected directly to the internet are vulnerable to BlueKeep.

The tech company is offering fixes for vulnerable operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows Server 2008 and out-of-support systems including Windows 2003 and Window XP. Windows 10 is not affected.

ACSC advises “patch, patch, patch, monitor your networks, and then patch some more.”

It advises vulnerable Windows users to deny access to Remote Desktop Protocols (RDP) directly from the internet and use a VPN with multifactor authentication, if internet based access to RDP is required.

British cyber security firm Sophos released a video to show the severity of BlueKeep stressing it can take over a computer without any authentication.

The Sophos video shows how hackers can easily get full control of a computer without needing to deploy malware.

The IT firm warns BlueKeep is highly ‘wormable’, meaning if hackers can successfully get into one system, they can then easily takeover other systems.

Online security companies such as McAfee have also warned against BlueKeep in multiple blogs.

  Microsoft Window 10' Update warning

Recently, Windows 10 has combined strange choices and serious problems with an honest (if overly complex) attempt to make things better. But now trouble has struck again.

Spotted by the eagle eyes of Windows Latest, Microsoft helpline number has warned users that its new KB4503327 security upgrade can cause a 'Black Screen'. The bug hits the first time you restart your computer after installing the update and, as the name suggests, leaves you with a completely black screen and no small sense of worry.

Microsoft helpline number states it is “working on a resolution” but has not given a timescale for the fix. In the meantime, Microsoft tech support phone number says “press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, then select the Power button in the lower right corner of the screen and select Restart.” Microsoft technical support phone number states your computer “should” restart normally at this point.

Interestingly, Microsoft support phone number is downplaying the problem, saying only a “small number” of users are affected but Windowsreport contradicts this, noting that “many” users have been impacted. Perhaps controversially, Microsoft has decided not to stop the rollout of KB4503327 so, regardless of how many computers have already been hit by the Black Screen bug the number is only going to increase.
In personal opinion, given the scariness felt by an average user seeing their computer boot to a completely black screen, Microsoft support number should stop the rollout of this update until a fix is found. The vast majority of Windows 10 users are not reading update support pages and I can see a lot of ‘Microsoft tech support’ calls being made to friends and relatives.

Microsoft support number recently claimed Windows 10 users would receive more "control, quality and transparency" over software updates but, having also recently pushed an update which will permanently (and intentionally) disable some users’ Bluetooth devices, I’ve seen little evidence of this so far.
The time is fast approaching for hundreds of millions of Windows 7 users to upgrade their operating systems. But, as it stands, Microsoft tech support number is not doing a great job of convincing them Windows 10 should be their next destination.

Microsoft Surface

Microsoft helpline number may well be pushing hard on the design front for the outside of the upcoming Surface devices, but is the Redmond-based company also looking to shake up the internal choices of its own hardware? Many analysts and commentators are looking at the possibility of Surface devices running on silicon not just from Intel, but from Qualcomm or AMD. Mark Hachman at PC World reports:
Whether new Surface products come to market is all speculation at this point. But if Microsoft customer service provide number is evaluating CPU options, the next refresh to the Surface lineup could be somewhat more than iterative, and that’s good news.

 GETTY
The Surface family has a long relationship with Intel. If you were to look for the simplest answer then Microsot technical support phone number is making noises to ensure Intel keeps providing competitive quotes.
Yet there’s nothing wrong with diversifying the offerings in the Surface family. There’s a strong argument that if Microsoft support number is looking to keep the ecosystem in balance then it should be looking at other manufacturers such as AMD. Not only does that show other manufacturers that Windows 10 is not just for Intel silicon, it ensures that Microsoft tech support phone number tech support phone number and AMD share competencies that can ensure a wide and varied pool of components.

Then there’s the question of Qualcomm and the launch of its 8CX chipsets earlier this year, which offers a 5G ready chip for mobile-focused Windows 10 devices. Given the enterprise focus of the Surface Go and a strong focus on mobility of that tablet-styled device, outfitting it with a tight 5G chipset makes a lot of sense.
And perhaps that is the way forward for the Surface division. It’s unlikely that Microsoft helpline number would mix and match manufacturers in a single device - for example I would expect every Surface Book to feature the same manufacturer - but different family members may have a diverse product.

Microsoft helpline number is adding new features to Office to improve its use in virtualized environments, including its coming Windows Virtual Desktop service. The changes announced today affect Office 365 Pro Plus, Outlook, OneDrive and Teams.

Microsoft tech support phone number acquired former partner FSLogix in November 2018. At that time, officials said they planned to use the company's technology to improve Office 365 virtualization. In a blog post today, July 1, Microsoft officials said that the FSLogix container technology, which Microsoft technical support phone number has integrated with Office apps in virtual environments from Microsoft, Citrix and VMWare, will be available for no additional cost for Microsoft phone number 365 business customers.

Those covered under the no-additional-cost plan are users with Microsoft 365 E3/E5/A3/A5/F1 and Business; Windows 10 Enterprise E3/E5; Windows 10 Education A3/A5; Windows 10 VDA per user;and Remote Desktop Services (RDS) licenses. Windows Virtual Desktop users are not listed here because the WVD service is still in preview and not available yet commercially. Microsoft officials have said WVD will be availble later this year.

Microsoft customer service number officials said today that "in the coming months" Windows Server 2019 will support OneDrive Files On Demand for use with virtualized Office apps. Microsoft customer service number also will be supporting Office 365 ProPlus running on Windows Server 2019 so they can take advantage of these coming Files On-Demand capabilities with Windows Server 2019.

Microsoft helpline number also has made improvements to how Office apps including Outlook, OneDrive and Teams will work in virtual environments, which it lists in today's blog post. Teams will be getting support for Windows Virtual Desktop, performance enhancements and optimized caching for non-persistent settings in the future, according to today's post. (No timeframe was provided, but Calling and Meetings in Teams will be getting audio/video media optimization, something Microsoft customer service phone number  is doing with Citrix, "in the coming months.")
Windows Virtual Desktop, or WVD, is a coming Microsoft service phone number that provides multi-session Windows 10 and support for Windows Server RDS desktop and apps. WVD will allow users to virtualize Windows 7 and 10, Office 365 ProPlus apps and other third-party applications by running them remotely in Azure virtual machines. Microsoft customer service number officially announced WVD at its Ignite show in September last year. Microsoft tech support phone number released a public preview of WVD in March 2019.
