Without Password sign in, Windows 10 20H1 Build 18936 Released...
Microsoft is rolling out Windows 10 20H1 Build 18936 to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring, with the build including support for passwordless authentication, Phone screen support for more Surface devices, as well as various fixes.
If you are a Windows Insider in the Fast ring, you can update to Insider Preview Build 18936 by going into Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update and then checking for new updates.
Passwordless sign-in support for Microsoft accounts
Windows 10 Insiders can now use passwordless authentication with their Microsoft accounts after enabling it from Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options and toggling on the Make your device passwordless option.
"Enabling passwordless sign in will switch all Microsoft accounts on your Windows 10 device to modern authentication with Windows Hello Face, Fingerprint, or PIN," says Microsoft.
Insiders will be walked through the Windows Hello setup after enabling the new feature on the next sign-in and can watch a short video detailing how a Windows Hello PIN improves their account security.
Seeing that Microsoft is currently rolling out passwordless authentication to a small number of Windows Insiders, the feature might not be available for all users in the Settings dialog until it will be pushed to all users.
